There’s a great saying… there are three kinds of people in the world.

1. People who things happen to
2. People who make things happen, and
3. People who ask, “what the heck just happened?”

My entry into HAM radio is an example of the third kind. I’ve always been curious about HAM and just never knew what was involved or how to approach it or why I might.

This blog is meant to document my journey and, hopefully, provide some help to others along the way. I’ve found the HAM community to be welcoming, encouraging, innovative and curious. I hope to build this blog in the same spirit.
